Don't Just Do it - Teach it!

Teaching fitness classes is a rewarding and popular choice of career for all kinds of people.  Whatever type of class you want to teach, the Exercise, Movement and Dance Partnership has a training course to meet your needs.

In July and August this year, we will be holding a series of Roadshows so you can find out more about our training courses and experience for yourself what it is like to be a KFA Moves teacher.  Follow the link on the left 'Training Course Roadshow' for more details.

Teaching movement and dance is an ideal way to fit teaching around your current commitments. It gives you the  flexibility to teach in the day time, evening or even weekends.  Whatever your circumstances we can train you.

I love movement and dance

We can train you to pass on your love of movement and dance to a wide variety of people. Whether you want to teach adults, older adults or children and young people, we have the course for you. The dance side of the qualification will allow you to be as creative in your teaching as you want to be.

The great thing about all of our teaching qualifications is that it opens up doors anywhere in the community and/or education.

Teaching adults – set up your own community based classes, be your own boss

Teaching older adults – work with national partnerships like Age Concern, Community Sports Partnerships to provide classes in the community

Teaching children and young people – you may be a Teaching Assistant – why not qualify as a teacher of  movement and dance to children and young people

Teaching Chair Based Exercise to Older Adults – an essential qualification for anyone looking for a career in residential or care home settings working to maintain mobility in the frail elderly or less active.

An active Retirement ?

Don't just Do it - Teach it!

I'm retiring early but want to keep active

A number of people who take our courses do so because they are taking early retirement but don’t just want to STOP. After training, you have the freedom to build your own working pattern.  The teaching keeps you active and alert, and
provides an essential social activity for the community.  You will wonder why you did not do it earlier.
